There is little left for Christmas to arrive and with it its famous Christmas markets. In Europe they have proliferated both in quality and quantity, something for which it is already worth taking a trip just to visit them, because these days they offer us the unique opportunity to enjoy a warm and colorful atmosphere, with its Christmas decoration, food stalls Street, (without forgetting) mulled wine, craft shops, music or children's choirs singing songs of these dates. 1. Alsace

In the Alsace area, in northern France, we have been able to enjoy one of the best Christmas markets in the world. Its towns with medieval air with streets full of charm, their story houses dressed With a thousand colors and flowers, to which at this time they add a beautiful Christmas decoration, they make this place a paradise for Christmas lovers. On our trip to Alsace we toured many of these villages where, at this time, the protagonists are incredible Christmas markets, such as those of Mulhouse, Obernai, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé ... to those of the beautiful town of Colmar and the more than ten that we can find in Strasbourg, the Christmas capital.

3. Belgium

Arriving in Brussels and seeing the more than 250 stalls around the Great Place, with its large Christmas tree, already make it worth the trip. Its ice rink in Sainte-Catherine and the atmosphere that is created in the city at this time, is incredible. You should also keep in mind that by train you can travel to Bruges, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, with a Christmas market in the center and many shops where you can buy anything related to Christmas. Nor can you forget Ghent, Antwerp or Leuven that are also spectacular at Christmas and which is very easy to access by train from Brussels. Christmas is undoubtedly one of the best things to see in Belgium.
